The Healing Power of Silence!
Friday Dec 20, 2024
Friday Dec 20, 2024
Welcome to this special Advent episode of The Catholic Life Coach Podcast. As we prepare to welcome Jesus into our hearts this Christmas, I want to share a powerful message about the gift of silence.
In today’s busy world, where productivity is celebrated and busyness feels like a badge of honor, finding pockets of quiet can be challenging—but it’s also deeply transformative. In this episode, I’ll walk you through why silence is essential for connecting with God, processing emotions, and healing our hearts. I’ll share my own journey toward simplifying Christmas and how it’s helped me focus more on what truly matters.
We’ll talk about the importance of creating intentional space for God, letting Him love you in the stillness, and learning to listen to your heart and His voice. Whether it’s through quiet moments around the Advent wreath, pausing to reflect on your emotions, or simply spending meaningful time with your family, this episode is an invitation to embrace simplicity and open your heart to God’s presence this Christmas season.
I pray that this message blesses you and encourages you to slow down, find stillness, and let God guide you into the joy and peace He desires for you.
Merry Christmas, my loves!

Christ Has No Body but Yours: Embrace Your Unique Mission
Friday Dec 13, 2024
Friday Dec 13, 2024
In this episode, I reflect on the powerful words of Saint Teresa of Avila: Christ has no body but yours. These words resonated deeply with me during Holy Hour, and they serve as a reminder that we are called to co-create with God in a way only we can.
We each have a unique mission, one that God can only accomplish through us. It’s easy to get distracted by what others are doing, but focusing on our God-given gifts and desires allows His light to shine through us in extraordinary ways.
Join me as I explore how embracing your uniqueness and saying “yes” to God’s call can create incredible transformations—not just in your life, but in the lives you are meant to touch. It’s time to stop wasting energy comparing yourself to others and start living out the mission God has placed on your heart.
Let’s reflect on how God is working through you, celebrate the journey He has uniquely designed for you, and prepare for the ultimate goal of eternity with Him.
Let’s shine His light together.

Surrender vs. Giving Up
Friday Dec 06, 2024
Friday Dec 06, 2024
In this episode, we will dive into the transformative yet challenging practice of surrender. What does it truly mean to surrender to God, and how is it different from giving up? I share my personal journey of learning to let go and trust God through life’s ups and downs, including a season of rest during my pregnancy that redefined my understanding of co-creating with Him.
Explore the contrast between surrender and quitting, how your emotions and beliefs shape these experiences, and why surrendering is rooted in trust rather than hopelessness. I also unpacks the concept of "quiet quitting" and encourages you to stay grounded in your God-given dreams, even when the path gets hard.
If you’ve ever struggled to discern when to hold on, let go, or simply trust in God’s perfect timing, this episode is for you. Let’s embrace surrender as a journey of faith and trust in His greater plan.
Key Takeaways:
The emotional and spiritual differences between surrendering and giving up.
How to avoid "quiet quitting" on your God-given dreams.
Practical ways to trust God with the parts of your plan that aren’t yours to control.

Be Bold and Dream Big!
Friday Nov 29, 2024
Friday Nov 29, 2024
In this heartfelt episode, I open up about the power of dreaming boldly and co-creating with God. Life can often feel overwhelming, and doubt can creep in, making us question whether our dreams are too big or unattainable. But God places those desires in our hearts for a reason—they are meant to be brought to life with Him.
I share how a recent family journey with 33 Days to Eucharistic Glory by Matthew Kelly and a perfectly timed passage about dreaming reignited my belief in what’s possible when we trust in God’s plan. Together, we’ll explore how dreaming isn’t just wishful thinking but a call to action, surrender, and trust in His divine guidance.
Let’s talk about breaking free from limiting beliefs, stepping into God’s abundant possibilities, and taking the next step—no matter how small—toward a life that reflects His light. You’ll be encouraged to journal, pray, and reconnect with your God-given dreams, opening the door to a more aligned, fulfilling, and faith-filled life.
This is your invitation to dream again and take action, knowing you are chosen and equipped for a greater purpose. Join me in this journey of faith, trust, and transformation.
Listen now to start dreaming and co-creating with God.

Let’s Stop Being “Nice”
Friday Nov 22, 2024
Friday Nov 22, 2024
In this episode, I dive into Let’s Not Be Nice. As someone who grew up in Venezuela, I’ve always seen a big difference between being “nice” and being kind. In Spanish, we don’t even use the word “nice” the way it’s used in English—we focus on kindness (amable), which carries a deeper sense of love and understanding.
In this episode, I share why being “nice” can often lead us to people-pleasing and sacrificing our true desires, all in the name of keeping the peace. But when we shift from being “nice” to being kind, we create space to honor both ourselves and the people around us, with clear boundaries that reflect love and respect.
I also open up about a personal story—our family’s decision to homeschool our kids—and how I navigated others’ opinions while staying true to what God was calling us to do. It wasn’t always easy, but it taught me the importance of standing firm in my values, trusting God’s guidance, and loving others even when they don’t agree.
This week, I challenge you to practice being kind instead of just being nice. Learn to honor your dreams, respect your boundaries, and trust the Holy Spirit’s movement in your life.
Let’s step into the freedom of being who God is calling us to be—without apology!

How Faith Transforms Life Coaching!
Friday Nov 15, 2024
Friday Nov 15, 2024
Today, I have a special guest joining me—my sweet little boy, Giovanni Charles, who is right here with me as we record. I’m sharing something deeply important: why combining life coaching with our Catholic faith creates a uniquely transformative experience.
I’ve been reflecting on what makes this approach so powerful, and it comes down to inviting God to lead our sessions. Life coaching is a tool for growth, but when it’s centered on faith, it brings a whole new dimension of purpose and alignment. Together, we’ll explore how healing our relationship with ourselves through faith-driven coaching helps us become who God created us to be, live more joyfully, and deepen our relationships with others.
Whether you’re new to the podcast or have been tuning in regularly, I hope this episode brings clarity and encouragement on how coaching through faith can help you move forward. If you’re ready to take this journey, or if you have questions, I’d love to hear from you. And, if you catch a little cooing in the background, that’s Gio chiming in with his own blessings for you all!

Boundaries: Finding Balance and Rest with Roxsan De Vera
Friday Nov 08, 2024
Friday Nov 08, 2024
In this episode of The Catholic Life Coach Podcast, I’m joined by life coach Roxsan De Vera, founder of Meek and Humble, to discuss the vital role boundaries play in living a life aligned with God’s purpose. Together, we explore how understanding our God-given limits and honoring the balance between rest and productivity can lead to a more abundant, fulfilling life.
Roxsan shares her personal story of facing burnout and how she found renewed strength and guidance through scripture, specifically Matthew 11:28-30. We touch on the pressure society places on women to "do it all" and the healing realization that rest, rooted in God’s love, actually increases our ability to thrive and contribute meaningfully.
This episode offers practical insights on recognizing when to surrender control to God, setting healthy boundaries to avoid overcommitment, and the importance of discerning God’s will in our everyday decisions. With reflections on humility, the necessity of Sabbath rest, and examples from both of our lives, Roxanne and I provide encouragement to prioritize spiritual well-being and embrace a grace-filled approach to life.
